IT Manager

Mission

The mission of IT Manager is to manage and support the management of technology-intensive projects, ensuring the realization of value for the business.

Key Duties & Responsibilities

​

• Manages selected technology-intensive projects

• Handles business-critical IT tasks and systems administration

• Acts, when required, as a technology-to-business liaison, working closely with top management for the implementation of IT solutions to support the business

• Continuously analyzes current processes, technologies, and vendors to identify areas of improvement in order to provide the best possible service and value for company needs

• Completes IT projects by coordinating resources and timetables

• Trains employees on both software and hardware, troubleshoot, and provides technical support when needed

Qualifications & Competencies

​

• Degree in Computer Science or Information Systems Management

• 5+ years of professional experience in a similar position

• Experience in enterprise environments and in the implementation of IT projects

• Ability to work effectively under pressure and meet strict deadlines, with minimum supervision

• Familiar with Oracle, Visual Studio, SQL Server and reporting services

• Good knowledge of business practices regarding CRM and reporting

• Experience with programming languages and operating systems, current equipment and technologies, enterprise backup and recovery procedures as well as system performance monitoring

• Strong organizational skills and ability to handle multiple projects in parallel

• A genuine team player, with results-oriented spirit

• Excellent interpersonal skills; building, maintaining and developing relationships of trust with colleagues

• Excellent communication and presentation skills, oral and written, in Greek and English, both in technical and non-technical language
