Food & Beverage Service Manager “Maître”

Euphoria Retreat, the first Holistic Destination Spa in Greece, situated in Mystras, launching a new Spa that is already among the most desirable Destination Spas in Europe. Our approach is unique and holistic, combining the ancient Greek philosophy and Hippocratic medicine with the practice of Chinese medicine. A unique retreat which is composed of 45 luxury rooms and suites, 1 restaurant with Mediterranean Healthy Spa Cuisine, 15 luxury treatment rooms, a unique sphere pool with hydrotherapy stations, a thermal suite with sauna, hammam, tepidarium, steam room, a watsu pool, a fitness club and 3 exercise studios.

We are currently looking for a skilled and talented Food & Beverage Service Manager “maître” to be responsible to establish and achieve quality and guest satisfaction goals.

Duties & Responsibilities:

  • Through good teamwork oversee day-to-day operations of Food & Beverage service that runs smoothly and efficiently, in line with Company standards, and with obvious attention to detail and assist wherever necessary.
  • Manage guest queries in a timely and efficient manner.
  • Ensure departmental targets, objectives, budgets, policies and procedures are set.
  • Manage the beverage perpetual inventory.
  • Manage in scheduling weekly roster and work schedules of the service team to ensure adequately staffing to handle the level of business and submit a copy to General Manager office.
  • Incentivise team members to maximize sales and revenue.
  • Develop Beverage menus with other members of the service team.
  • Feedback to the General Manager any issues or concerns that arise to allow for corrective action to be taken.
  • Ensure all Team Members are impeccably presented and adhere to the correct uniform standards.
  • Encourage and motivate associates to ensure maximum participation through cross training and flexibility within all areas.
  • Number of hours and day offs will be subject to business demand.

Qualification / Requirements:

  • Degree / higher education qualification in hotel-restaurant management
  • Minimum of 2 years experiences in similar position with 4- or 5-star hotel
  • Innovative
  • Strong beverage / wine knowledge
  • Excellent grooming standards
  • Good level in English, oral and written
  • German knowledge will be considered as an advantage
