The Finance Intern in BAT will be given the opportunity to work on real tasks from the onset, directly contributing to the finance aspect of the business and taking on increased levels of responsibility as they progress. Internship provides a solid foundation in a particular functional area, and widens participants’ perspectives through leadership and business competency development. The programme is structured around a highly effective integrated learning approach, with focus on, on-the-job development interventions, interaction with others and formal training programmes.
Key Accountabilities:
- Delivery of project work & assignments relating to competency and leadership development within functional as well as cross-functional teams
- Assist functional managers and executives in the delivery of key aspects of their role, i.e. budget and annual forecasting
- Work proactively in close collaboration with coach and mentor with a view to maximize and accelerate learning process
- Finance Intern will rotate around different disciplines, placements within different departments of finance.
Essential requirements
- University Degree in Finance
- Master’s Degree in Finance or Business Administration or relevant field will be appreciated
- English and Greek (written and spoken), mother tongue or equivalent
- Computer literacy (Windows Office package)
- Commitment and reliability with sense of responsibility for getting results
- Good numeracy, analytical & synthetic skills
- Good interpersonal communication skills
- Able to work under pressure
- Ability for continuous learning
