Associate - General Accounting

Description:

The ideal candidate will be familiar with basic accounting procedures, have a flair for numbers and will ensure that the company’s daily accounting functions run accurately and effectively.

Responsibilities:

• Reporting, reporting and reporting. Timely and accurate reporting for both internal and external stakeholders , detailed financial analysis, monthly management financial reporting process and month end. You’ve got it.
• Know your stuff. Provide advice to Excite employees for the daily processing of payments and receipts and ensure compliance with all legislative statutory requirements and company guidelines, processes and policies
• Day to day. Daily finance operations processes including preparing journal entries, reconciliations, documentation, internal control and reporting, GL Account reconciliations and report variances, company budgets involvement.
• Sky's the limit. Actively contribute to ad hoc projects and the continuous improvement of processes, to meet best practice benchmarks

Requirements:

• Certified. Bachelor degree in Accounting or similar related field. ACCA or Chartered Accountant is strongly desirable.
• “Pivot!”. You have strong math skills and an analytical mind. You’ve been known to create spreadsheets just for fun.
• Tool nerd. You have experience with an ERP system, particularly Oracle Cloud.
• Been there... You have proven experience of 3 to 5 years in similar Accounts positions and especially International accounting experience.
• Outstanding communication skills. You can speak the team jargon to get things done and you can fluently interact with the Executive team.
• Results driven with the ability to meet deadlines whilst maintaining the highest standards of integrity and accuracy.
• One of the gang. Ability to work well in a team environment as well as the ability to work with minimal direct supervision
