Meli Tours is seeking to hire an
Operations Officer
for the Athens Office.
Job Description and duties:
- Handling booking/group travel enquiries
- Converting enquiries into bookings and maximize all sales opportunities
- Follow ups
- Deliver an exceptional level of Customer Service
- Organizing/Participation in Fam Trips/ Inspections
- Assisting in Contracting
- Participation in Exhibitions (domestic & abroad)
- Reporting
Qualifications:
- Excellent communication skills in English
- Excellent written and verbal communication in any other language than Greek (skills in German will be appreciated)
- Experience in the Travel Industry
- Experience working with international accounts
- CRS/CRM/MS Office proficient skills
- Driver’s License
Competencies:
- Skills in Sales
- Planning & organizational skills/Multitasking
- Efficiency under pressure and tight deadlines
- Flexibility to travel (even abroad if necessary) for events, client meetings, etc
- Personality traits: team player, outgoing personality, strong communication skills
