Procurement Officer

Job purpose:

Oversees and executes the supply chain operations of for the F&B dpt of the Hotel in order to achieve the effective distribution of goods.

Key accountabilities of the role:

• Negotiates with suppliers to achieve profitable deals and mutual satisfaction suppliers
• Supervises orders and arrange stocking of goods and equipment to ensures they meet Hotel needs
• Keeps logs and records of warehouse stock, executed orders etc
• Plans and track the timely delivery of final products according to business requirements
• Prepares accurate reports for upper management of all all material stock
• Coordinates the internal distribution of goods to the respective dpt
• Utilizes logistics IT (Materials Control) to optimize procedures.

Candidates profile:

• Proven experience in procurement preferably in the hotel industry
• Ability to work under pressure and track multiple processes
• Computer-savvy with a working knowledge of logistics software (Soft 1
• Excellent organization and coordination abilities
• Excellent communication and negotiation skills
• BSc /BA in business administration, supply chain management or relevant field
• Knowledge of Materials Control Program is a must
